GRDC has several initiatives to improve public safety and address blight across our five neighborhoods. GRDC’s Crime Prevention Task Force (CPTF) is a resident-led initiative that meets regularly to develop strategies for residents, business owners, and visitors in Grandmont Rosedale to protect themselves and their property. The CPTF holds bi-monthly Neighborhood Safety Meetings that feature guest speakers from the police, fire and public safety departments. These meetings are a great way for residents to get to know their law enforcement officials better, and to bring their concerns directly to their representatives.

For more information on any of these initiatives, contact Program Director at 313.387.4732, ext 120 or becki@grandmontrosedale.com.

You can also stay in touch with GRDC’s initiatives by liking the GRDC Facebook page where meetings and events are posted: https://www.facebook.com/GrandmontRosedaleDevelopment/

GRDC’s Vacant Property Task Force (VPTF) is a resident-led initiative that meets regularly to strategize ways to combat property vacancy and blight. Members of the VPTF monitor vacant homes in Grandmont Rosedale to ensure that every property is maintained.

For more information, contact Program Director Becki Kenderes at 313.387.4732, ext 120 or  becki@grandmontrosedale.com.
