Karen Moore, Community Security Program Manager with the Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation, received special recognition for her exemplary work in leading public safety initiatives in the Grandmont Rosedale community at the Neighborhood Safety Meeting held on Thursday, May 9th. The well-deserved recognition included a Spirit of Detroit Award from the Detroit City Council, a Resolution from the Board of Police Commissioners and a Certificate of Recognition from the Detroit Police Department. Councilman James Tate and police Lt. Renee Hall presented the Spirit of Detroit Award.
