Neighborhood Open House Draws Hundreds of Visitors
Hundreds of visitors crowded the North Rosedale Park Community House on Sunday, May 5 for the 8th Annual Neighborhood Open House. Visitors were able to view 12 homes for sale, ranging in price from $45,000 to $137,000, as well as one home for rent. Bikers from Wheelhouse Detroit joined neighborhood residents for a bike tour of the area, while bus tours oriented guests to the rich history of Grandmont Rosedale.
Spirit of Detroit Award - Recipient Harold Harris
Congratulations to Harold Harris who is the founder of the Grandmont 1 Radio Patrol and the Recipient of the Spirit of Detroit Award.
Because of Harold’s perseverance and skilled organizing, the Grandmont 1 Radio Patrol was recognized. The Honorable City Council Person James Tate made a presentation at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
