Vacant Property Task Force Hosts Successful Fundraiser

Sunday afternoon March 17, the Vacant Property Task Force hosted a benefit performance of Park Players’ Dreamgirls. With a great performance, good food and full house, the event was deemed a smashing success. Special thanks to everyone who donated food or supplies to the event, including two local businesses: Always Brewing Detroit and Simply Devine! As well as those who sold tickets and/or helped with the set up and tear down. Proceeds from the performance support the Vacant Property Task Force, a group of resident volunteers working to address problems associated with abandoned properties in the community.
