As many people know, a well-organized, knowledgeable Administrative Assistant is vital to a well-run organization. Lucky for GRDC, we have Jocelyn Moss. A Detroiter for the last 20 years, Jocelyn comes to GRDC with experience as the Administrative Assistant for a day care and several churches. As Jocelyn says, she “helps organizations stay organized, so things run smoothly and comfortably.”

As the mother of three and the owner of a skin product business, you could say Jocelyn uses her organizational skills daily. In what little spare time she has left, Jocelyn and her husband Dontez share a love of history, specifically Detroit history. When Jocelyn applied to be the Administrative Assistant at GRDC, she took a drive through Grandmont Rosedale, a neighborhood with a distinct Detroit history, of its own. “It’s so beautiful!” thought Jocelyn. Together, Jocelyn and Dontez have created Detroit Unveiled, a Detroit history vlog with a Facebook and Instagram presence.

GRDC’s new Administrative Assistant and sometime Detroit historian is a great fit at GRDC. And so far, Jocelyn couldn’t agree more: “I’m loving the Grandmont Rosedale community. The people are wonderful!” The next time you have a question for GRDC, are looking to schedule a meeting, want to be added to the GRDC eblast list, or even if you just want to talk Detroit history, send Jocelyn an email at jocelyn@grandmontrosedale.com, or stop in to visit her at 19800 Grand River.
