Grandmont Rosedale SOUP is coming to the Grand River WorkPlace on Thursday, October 20th, at 7:00pm. But your role in the community fun begins now.

GR SOUP is a democratic crowdfunding event aimed to support projects beneficial to our community. Four creative thinkers pitch their project proposals to the audience, hoping to receive the majority support and, of course, all the money collected at the door.

Five dollars grants you access to live outdoor music, soup, salad, and a vote for your favorite project. But why stop there? Submit your own project idea NOW, and you could be one of the four finalists at the event!

Project ideas can range from beautification projects to youth development programs to enhancing your business! Proposals should include (1) contact information, (2) project name and summary, (3) why your project matters to the Grandmont Rosedale community, (4) how you will use SOUP funding (around $500) towards the realization of your project and (5) what the time frame is for your project and how you could share its progress/completion.

Submit proposals by 10/10/16 online at http://detroitsoup.com/grandmont-rosedale/
or drop off a hard copy at GRDC (19800 Grand River Ave)

Just want to attend the event and help decide your next community project? Sounds good – we need your input! Have some fun reflecting on the things that you believe are important for your community and bring them with you to Grandmont Rosedale SOUP on October 20th at the Grand River WorkPlace (19120 Grand River Ave). We look forward to seeing you there!

Gathering begins at 7:00 pm
Presentations at 7:30 pm
Dinner at 8:00 pm
Winner announced by 9:00 pm
